A Day Off is Not What it Used to Be!
Today I have taken the day off and it is not the way it used to be, I had to take the day as my puppy is not feeling well. It used to be that you would take the day off to fell better yourself or just because you needed to relax, not anymore. Now there a multiple of reasons to take a day off and non of them are generally fun. What a world but I guess we all have to grow up sometime.......at leat to a degree anyway.
At least I can get some work done today as my house is almost ready for Christmas. Christmas is a wonderful time of year, except for the cold and snow before Christmas Eve. I love decorating and this year we are having Christmas at out house which is very exciting as it is our first Christmas as the hosts of the family. We will have our little house full to the brim with eight people in it including our two young nieces and it will be a lot of fun.
We have everything decorated and the stockings hung going up the stairs above the lights. The tree is set to go and we have almost all the gifts to go under it for the family too. All will be well this Christmas as it is anytime you can be with friends and family at this special time of year.
I hope all will have a friend and family filled Holiday Season as there is nothing more important than friends and family.
